What we do

I create vibrant, colourful patterns that spark joy and celebrate the beauty of creativity.

I do this because I believe that we deserve to surround ourselves with the colours and patterns we love - the ones that tell the stories about who we are.

I create my designs from a small studio tucked at the back of our house—a space filled with the things that inspire me. From preloved treasures I’ve found in op shops to cards and posters from designers I admire, to my own mixed-media artworks, patterns, and journals, this cozy corner is where my creativity comes to life.

About What We Do

Before digital tools took over, patterns were drawn by hand. That’s the way I love to create. My process combines traditional techniques with modern tools, and it all starts with inspiration.

Gathering Inspiration: Whether I’m taking a walk through the city or scrolling through Pinterest, inspiration is everywhere. I gather ideas—pattern layouts, colour combinations, and reference photos (mostly of flowers)—to fuel my designs. Nature is my greatest muse.

Conceiving the Collection: After collecting inspiration, I sift through it to uncover a story. Each collection begins with a theme, and sometimes these ideas simmer in the background for months before they’re ready to bloom. I then sketch thumbnail designs—though there are always more ideas than make it into the final collection.

Creating the Patterns: I love sketching my motifs by hand—whether it’s a single flower or an entire pattern repeat. Once I’m happy with the hand-drawn designs, I then digitize them in Illustrator, refining every detail to perfection.
